The Khans Come to Visit!

Although we decided not to travel home this year since we are getting close to my due date we were super happy that Jamal, Kristin and Caleb decided to come see us for part of their vacation time!

We had a nice weekend together mostly just hanging out at home and letting the cousins play together and exchange gifts.

It got a little quite and when we found them they were "reading" to one another :)

We were also able to take Caleb out to play in the snow for the first time.  Neither Ella or Caleb were too thrilled about it though, but it was pretty windy and cold that day!  We pretty much snapped these pictures and headed home!

 
We are so glad they came to visit - it was a fun weekend full of laughs!

Christmas Post

So I am behind on blogging again... I'm not sure why I can't keep up lately, I felt like I was on a pretty good roll of once a week for awhile, but not lately!

Anyway, we had a nice Christmas at home, it was the end of 4th quarter for Nick, so he finally had a break in his work schedule, so we just relaxed all day.  Spent most of the day in our PJs actually, which was really nice.  I also got to take a nap, so I really appreciated that!

Ella took a bit to figure out what was going on, but once she figured it out, she was quite the present opener!  She loved tearing the paper and wanted the toys out of the box as soon as the paper was off.  Which posed some problems considering toys require a LOT of work to remove them from their packaging.

What do I do??

She LOVES her new trike, she climbs on and off all on her own and loves to be pushed around :)

O Christmas Tree

Our tree is finally up and fully decorated!  I finished it up during nap time today, so Ella hasn't had too much time to mess with it, but so far only one ornament has come off the tree (which is keeping on par with Zoe) so I can't really complain!  She is in awe of it though - which is so cute :)
