2 Month Checkup

Yesterday we took Max in for his 2 month appointment so I wanted to update with his current stats!

 

He weighs 13lbs, 5oz (70th percentile) and is 22.75" tall (30th percentile) and he is in the 85th percentile for head circumference. So he is short but smart :)

 

He is doing great and also did pretty good with his 4 vaccinations. Ella on the other hand had a rough day as she got sick on our drive home. I'm not really sure why because as soon as I got her cleaned up she was running around and screaming as if nothing happened. I'm hoping she isn't becoming car sick and that it was just a fluke.

 

Today Ella decided that she wanted to give Max hugs and kisses all on her own :) I did have to break it up though because I think she was about to smother him. She is also a curly sue after a bath, but unfortunately her hair still dries straight.

 

 

In other good news we made the down payment on our new patio and sod this weekend! Now we just need the weather to cooperate so we can enjoy some outdoor living! Yay!

Ella and Zoe

Reacntly Ella has started to try and say Zoe's name all the time, it is really cute and she usually says "ooooeeee" or adds a little of a d/z sound to it like "doe-eeee". Zoe has even let her pet her a few times... But not too often :)

Anyway, I don't typically let Ella play with the iPad, but on occasion I do, typically when I'm trying to get ready after she is up. She sits on the bed and I have an app that has little drawings of animals:

And then when you touch one it shows and real picture and makes the animal sound:

 

Today she did the cat over and over and over and just kept squeeling "ooooeee!" "ooooeee!" "ooooeee!"

She is a little cat lover :)
