So I realized that I never posted any pictures from Halloween.
We didn't actually take Ella Trick or Treating this year because since it was during the day it actually fell right during nap time and also because she is too young to eat that candy so I just feel like it is silly to take her out. Plus I love handing out candy :) We got about 350 trick or treaters - mostly all kids with real costumes, so that was good! Lots of fun comments on Lucky ("we had a lab - but she died" "I love your dog") and some about my parents RV which was parked in the driveway ("cool camper!" "is your camper for sale?"). So it was fun - and great weather too!
We did have Ella wear her little cat costume all day, which she shockingly tolerated very well! She didn't even try and pull the hood down. We had our final walk through of the house that morning and our realtor (who worked for the builder) loved Ella's little costume and then we took her to Costco, so we had a fun day! I never ended up carving the pumpkins that I bought, even to make seeds :( I should have known that I wouldn't really have time to do that.
Also be warned... this girl is so busy it is nearly impossible to get a good picture of her these days!

Grandma Hund made this cute little trick or treat bag for Ella but she REFUSED to take a picture with it although she loved carrying it all around the house! (she loves bags/baskets/buckets)

Sorry those were all out of order... I didn't realize until I was captioning them :)
We made it through the move! We officially moved last Friday and so we have been in the new house almost a week now! There is no way I could have made it through without my parents who stayed with us for 11 days. Nick had a meeting going on at corporate that was the Thursday/Friday before we closed on Monday. Then Monday right after closing he had to fly to Philadelphia until Thursday afternoon before we moved. Needless to say, Mom and Dad helped A LOT! And we are very thankful! Especially me. I'm pretty sure we would still be in the old house if they hadn't come.
We have nearly all of the boxes in the main house unpacked, but still have to finish organizing/decorating and hanging pictures. Then we move onto the garage & basement. It feels so good to be somewhat "settled". We are all adjusting really well... Ella didn't sleep so great the first night, but is now back to her normal sleeping and napping schedule which is fantastic! Lucky somehow seems calmer and happier in this house, I don't know why, maybe all the comfy carpet? We had mostly hardwood and tile in the other house so that is the only explanation I can come up with! And I have been sleeping better than I have in months... I think I didn't really realize how much stress I was really under. So all in all things are great!
Here are some "unfinished" pictures of the house:

And here is some cute Ella videos:
This is a little older but I forgot to share it, we switched Ella to a sippy cup at bedtime instead of a bottle and she refuses to sit still and be calm while drinking it, this was one of the first nights (Nick was out of town). Amazingly she still goes right to sleep after she is done!
Playing and "dancing"
Sorting beans in a muffin pan... which was dumped out shortly after this was taken!
This weekend we took a short break from packing up all our stuff to head to a pumpkin patch. It's been pretty chilly here and it was overcast but we still had a good time and got Ella a little pumpkin and Mommy a big one... Mostly so I could make some pumpkin seeds :). Trick or treating here is durning the day so it is almost not worth carving a pumpkin since you can't see it as a jack o lantern anyway! Thankfully the community our new house is in does it at night!
Riding the hay llama.. They also had real llamas but Nick said no petting :)
Entering the hay maize!
On the hay ride to the pumpkin patch!

House update:
We close on Monday! We are moving on the first and are really glad my parents offered to come for about a week and a half to help finish packing and move. Especially since our move is sandwiched between two business trips for Nick! We were able to get in the house on Saturday and it is starting to look finished! Paint colors are in as well as flooring and the electrician was there working on lighting! They are putting carpet down tomorrow and then mostly just pulmbing and some finish trim work is left... That I can tell :). Our walk though with the builder is this Thursday!
