O Christmas Tree

Our tree is finally up and fully decorated!  I finished it up during nap time today, so Ella hasn't had too much time to mess with it, but so far only one ornament has come off the tree (which is keeping on par with Zoe) so I can't really complain!  She is in awe of it though - which is so cute :)

Santa Visit

Yesterday we made the annual trip to take Ella to see Santa.  Last year we went to Bass Pro Shops and thought that they had a really nice set up, but I had heard that Cabela's also has a free Santa and since we now only live 5 minutes away we decided to try it out.  We did have to wait in line for an hour and a half (although the Santa line was shorter than the check out line...) but all in all it went well!  Ella did pretty good staying entertained, and I really didn't think it seemed like it took as long as it did.

They had a really nice set up and Santa was sitting in his sleigh which I thought was cute.  You got one free picture and were encouraged to bring your own camera to take more.  Also, the Santa was very friendly and realistic :)  Plus we got to check out the aquarium after too!

After Santa we finally went to pick out our tree, where I was the only one who got out of the car since it was below freezing with the wind chill and I'm much more picky about the tree than Nick... although, with it being that cold, I picked the 3rd one the guy showed me.  Pictures to come, we let it "thaw" overnight and plan to decorate it this evening.
