Four Months!
At 4 months old Max weighs 17lbs. 5oz. (85th percentile), is 25.25 inches tall (50th percentile) and is in the 90th percentile for head - he is a big little boy! He actually weighs only 6 pounds less than Ella did today - lol! He still has a few 3 month sized clothes that fit him, but he is pretty much only wearing size 6 month now. As of yesterday we switched him to size 3 diapers... we just happened to run out of size 1-2 on his birthday :)
Max is such a good little boy! He is pretty content 90% of the time and is happy to just hang out while we go on errands or the the park - we are so lucky! He still takes 4 8oz bottles a day and continues to be a great sleeper. We need to work on getting him to bed earlier, he is still up until about 10:30, but he has been sleeping until about 7:30-8 lately, which is wonderful!
He is such a happy little guy, it is very easy to get him to smile and giggle. He loves when his big sister is around, he smiles so big when he sees her! And lately she has been showing him all her favorite toys and books, which he loves! He is an expert at rolling from his back to his tummy, but no so much from his tummy to his back. He gets frustrated when he gets stuck on his tummy, but when you roll him back, he just rolls right over again - it is cute and frustrating at the same time! He still loves sitting in the bumbo as well :)
Ella's 4 month post can be found here. And here they are side by side:
And too cute not to share...

Memorial Day Weekend
We had such a nice time this weekend! The weather was gorgeous - mid to upper 70s with blue skies, not much more you can ask for! Nick took Friday off so we kicked things off with a picnic dinner Thursday night. Friday I was able to get some errands done all by myself (which felt like a vacation!), then Saturday we took a long walk and did a few things around the house.
Sunday morning we checked out the neighborhood pool, which claims to be heated but didn't really feel like it. Regardless we had a great time. Ella didn't really want to go in her float that she loved last year, but liked being carried in the water, thankfully the whole thing is pretty shallow so we were able to walk all around.
When we got home we got out her water table and had more fun! I literally carried her inside for lunch kicking and screaming.
Max also had a big day on Sunday! He rolled over for the first time! He is now an expert and rolls all the time, but does not know how to roll back yet, so that's a bit problematic.
Today we walked over to the park across the street and checked out the splash pad! Ella took a little bit to warm up to it but ended up having a great time and totally soaked! Daddy, Max, and Lucky all watched from the sidelines.
When she got up from nap today she was a total curly sue!
I don't even know who she is!
And one more of this cutie for good measure!
