So we are finally back home and getting into the swing of things around here! Sorry for my very late Christmas update, we went home to Ohio and Michigan for the week of New Years and once we are back I ended up with a cold and spent the week resting and the weekend unpacking, picking up and doing laundry so blogging was on the back burner. I didn't even download the pictures off of our camera until last night!
Anyway, we had a great vacation and Ella did very well on all the car trips (1,100 miles in all!), the Saturday that we left we got up at 4:30 and were on the road at 5:11, this meant that Ella continuted to sleep and we were able to get a lot of miles in before we had to stop for her morning feeding at about 8:30, it also meant that we got to Grandma and Grandpa's in Ohio by about 1:30 and still have half the day to spend there!

We left Ohio and headed to Michigan to spend 2 days at Grandma and Grandpa Boehm's before heading to Auntie Mel and Uncle Steve's for 2 days. Unfortunately I took hardly any pictures of this time, but we had a great time - Nick and I were even able to get out to a movie for the first time in quite awhile thanks to Mom and Dad :) And I made sure that I had time to walk around Meijer!

All in all we had a great time, despite a sickness that was carried in from Colorado (not naming names on that one! ;) ) and then transferred to Michigan, and then back to Wisconsin.... But it was a really nice break from the routine. As always, it is good to be home!
Those three together is priceless! To think how they'll grow up together always having a cousin to play with. So much fun.
