Happy Birthday Ella!

Saturday we had Ella's first birthday party!  We had been at my parents house in Michigan the whole week prior - we had surprised my mom on her last, last day of school ever - you can watch that video here: http://youtu.be/0aQnaEwmTMU

Being in town for the week allowed us to help with the planning and prep work.  I'm so glad we were able to have the party at my parents... it allowed so many more family members to be able to attend... not to mention my Dad probably has the nicest grass and yard in all of Michigan. :)

We are so thankful that so many people made it out to celebrate!  What a great family we have!

Mom - she loves to give her dolly hugs still :)  Right when I started this post she crawled over and picked her up and gave her a big hug and was rocking back and forth!!!
